California’s new rules of Professional Conduct go into effect next week and all California lawyers must be familiar with the new rules to avoid potential fines or disciplinary action.
On Tuesday, October 23rd, as part of a panel titled “The New Rules of Professional Conduct: What You Don’t Know Can Hurt You”, I will be discussing new rules that particularly impact San Diego Defense lawyers and your everyday practice.
Topics that will be discussed include:
• Conflicts of interest
• Trust accounting
• Delay of litigation
• The supervision of subordinate lawyers and non-lawyers
I invite you to join me tomorrow evening from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm at Peterson Court Reporting (530 B Street, San Diego). Dinner will be served and attorneys in attendance are eligible to earn 2.0 of Legal Ethics MCLE Credit.
If you are interested in attending please email firstname.lastname@example.org to register.
