When an attorney ends a client relationship, there are important ethical responsibilities he or she must consider, including the duty of responsibility. I’m looking forward to speaking on the topic at a San Diego County Bar Association “Nuts & Bolts Series” presented by the Bar’s Legal Ethics Committee on Friday, August 17th at 12:00 pm PT in downtown San Diego.
Among the topics we’ll cover include the requirements of the Rule of Professional Conduct 3-700 as well as the new Rule 1.16 requirements that will go into effect on November 1, 2018.
